Eric Schultz graduated with a BFA in Visual Effects at Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia in 2014. He is currently looking for freelance or full time work. In his spare time he likes to travel, read, watch movies, play video games, and hang with family and friends.

His interest in art started at an early age drawing dinosaurs with sidewalk chalk. He was first introduced to the magic of Visual Effects when he saw the movie Jurassic Park.

While at SCAD he developed a passion for the study of Lighting, Look Dev, and Surfacing in Visual Effects.  He loves studying material properties and recreating them in the CG world as well as, creating lighting that enhances the mood of the scene and draws the viewers eye.

He has interned in Los Angeles, CA at Legacy Effects, worked in Portland, Oregon at Laika Studios, at MPC Montreal as a Lighting and Look Dev Artist for 2 years, and at Dneg as a Lead Lighting Artist for 5 years. He is currently living in Vancouver, BC working at Luma Pictures as a Lead Lighting Artist.
